Post Widget
General Settings
Posts Per Page
This setting allows you to define the number of posts displayed per page. The default is 3, and you can set it from -1 to 100.
-1 will display all the post.
Layout
This option lets you choose the layout for displaying posts. The available layouts are:
- Grid
- Masonry
- Carousel
Post Skin
This setting allows you to choose the skin for the posts. The available options are:
- Classic
- On Side
- Banner
- Template Grid
- Custom HTML
Keep Sideways on Mobile
This option allows you to maintain the “On Side” layout on mobile devices. It is available only when “On Side” is selected as the post skin.
Columns
This control allows you to set the number of columns for the grid layout. The available options range from 1 to 8 columns. You can also set different defaults for tablet and mobile views.
Post HTML Tag
This setting allows you to choose the HTML tag for each post. The available options are:
- div
- article
Title HTML Tag
This setting allows you to choose the HTML tag for the post titles. The available options are:
- h1
- h3
- h3
- h4
- h5
- h6
- div
- span
- p
Default Template
This option allows you to select the default template for the posts. It is available only when “Template Grid” is selected as the post skin.
Extra Templates
This section allows you to add extra templates for the grid layout. Each template can be configured with:
- Template: Choose a template
- Position: Set the position in the grid
- Apply Once: Whether to apply the template only once
- Column Span: Set the column span
- Row Span: Set the row span
Custom HTML
This option allows you to enter custom HTML for the post layout. It is available only when “Custom HTML” is selected as the post skin. You can use the following tags:
- #TITLE#
- #CONTENT#
- #EXCERPT#
- #PERMALINK#
- #IMAGE#
Query Section Instructions
This section allows you to customize the query used to retrieve posts, providing flexibility in how posts are selected, ordered, and filtered. Below are the instructions for each control in this section:
Query Type
What it does: Select the type of query to use when fetching posts.
Options:
- Custom Query: Use this option to define a custom query for fetching posts.
- Main Query: Uses the main WordPress query to fetch posts, typically used when displaying content from the current page.
- User Query: Use this option to fetch posts by a specific user.
When to use: Choose Custom Query if you need to customize the conditions for fetching posts. Use Main Query if you want to display posts from the current page, such as for archive or search pages. Choose User Query if you want to display posts created by a specific user.
Post Type
What it does: Choose the type(s) of posts to retrieve. You can select multiple post types.
Options: Displays a list of post types such as Post, Page, or any custom post types registered on your site.
When to use: Select the post type(s) you want to display. For example, select “Post” if you want to display regular blog posts or select “Page” if you want to show pages instead.
Post Status
What it does: Choose the status of the posts to query, such as published, pending, draft, etc.
Options:
- Published: Posts that are publicly available.
- Pending: Posts that are awaiting review.
- Draft: Posts that are not published yet.
- Private: Posts that are restricted to certain users.
- Trashed: Posts that are moved to trash.
When to use: Select the post status you want to display. For example, choose “Published” to show only published posts or “Draft” if you want to display drafts.
Order By
What it does: Defines the field by which the posts should be ordered.
Options:
- Date: Orders posts by the date they were published.
- Last Modified: Orders posts by the last modified date.
- Random: Orders posts randomly.
- Comment Count: Orders posts by the number of comments.
- Title: Orders posts alphabetically by title.
- Post ID: Orders posts by their ID.
- Author: Orders posts by the author.
- Menu Order: Orders posts based on a custom menu order.
- Relevance: Orders posts by relevance, typically used in search results.
- Custom Field: Orders posts by a custom field value.
- Custom Field (Numeric): Orders posts by a numeric custom field value.
When to use: Choose the field by which you want to order your posts. For example, choose “Date” to order posts by their publication date or “Random” for a shuffled order.
Field Key
What it does: Enter the custom field (meta key) to sort posts when ordering by custom fields.
When to use: Use this option if you are ordering posts by a custom field, and you need to specify the field key to order them correctly.
Order
What it does: Defines the direction of the order (ascending or descending).
Options:
- Descending: Orders posts from the newest to the oldest (default).
- Ascending: Orders posts from the oldest to the newest.
When to use: Use this setting to define whether you want posts displayed in ascending or descending order. For example, use “Descending” to display the latest posts first.
Post Offset
What it does: Defines how many posts to skip when querying posts. This is useful for pagination or displaying posts after a certain number of posts have been skipped.
When to use: Use this option if you want to skip a set number of posts. For example, if you want to display posts starting from the 5th post onward, set the offset to “5”.
Carousel Settings
Trigger Breakpoint
This option allows you to select the breakpoint for triggering the carousel layout. It is available only when “Carousel” is selected as the layout.
Slides Per View
This setting allows you to define the number of slides visible at the same time. The available range go from 1 to 8.5, with 0.5 increment for half slide.
You can also set different defaults for tablet and mobile views.
Slides to Scroll
This option allows you to define the number of slides to scroll at a time. The available range go from 1 to 8.
You can also set different defaults for tablet and mobile views.
Slide Gap
This setting allows you to define the space between slides. The default value is 20, and you can set it from 0 to 60 pixels.
Arrow
This option allows you to enable or disable navigation arrows for the carousel. When enabled, arrows will be shown to navigate through slides.
Pagination
This setting allows you to enable or disable pagination for the carousel. Pagination indicators will be shown below the swiper.
Pagination Type
This option allows you to choose the type of pagination for the carousel. The available options include:
- Bullets
- Fraction
- Progressbar
It is available only when “Pagination” is enabled.
Transition Effect
This setting allows you to choose the transition effect for the carousel. The available options include:
- Slide
- Fade
Animation Speed
This option allows you to set the speed of the slide transition animation. The default value is 600 milliseconds, and you can set it from 1 to 10000 milliseconds.
Autoplay
This option allows you to enable or disable autoplay for the carousel. When enabled, slides will automatically transition.
Autoplay Speed
This setting allows you to define the delay between slides when autoplay is enabled. The default value is 3000 milliseconds, and you can set it from 1 to 10000 milliseconds.
Pause on Hover
This option allows you to enable or disable pausing the autoplay when the user hovers over the carousel.
Enable Touch Move
This option allows you to enable or disable touch movement for the carousel. When enabled, users can swipe to navigate through slides.
Enable Mousewheel
This option allows you to enable or disable mousewheel control for the carousel. When enabled, users can use the mousewheel to navigate through slides.
Infinite Loop
This option allows you to enable or disable looping of slides. When enabled, the carousel will continuously loop through slides.
Apply Parallax
This option allows you to enable or disable parallax effect for the carousel.
Adaptive Height
This option allows you to enable or disable adaptive height for the carousel. When enabled, the height of the carousel will adjust based on the height of the current slide.
Slider Height
This setting allows you to define the height of the carousel. You can set the value in pixels or viewport height (vh). The default value is 500 pixels. This option is available only when “Adaptive Height” is disabled.
Center Mode
This option allows you to enable or disable center mode for the carousel. When enabled, the current slide will be centered in the viewport.
Centered Slide Bounds
This option allows you to enable or disable centered slide bounds for the carousel. When enabled, the carousel will ensure that the slides are centered within the viewport.
Lazy Load
This option allows you to enable or disable lazy loading for the carousel slides. When enabled, slides will be loaded only when they enter the viewport, improving page load performance.
Content Settings
Content
This section allows you to configure the content to display in each post. Available content options include:

Link to Post
This option allows you to link the post title to the post. It is available only when “Title” is selected as the content type.
Meta Separator
This field allows you to set a separator for post meta information. The default value is ” | “. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type.
Display Post Author
This option allows you to display the author of the post. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type.
Link to Author Page
This option allows you to link the author name to the author page. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type and the post author display is enabled.
Author Icon
This option allows you to select an icon to display alongside the author name. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type and the post author display is enabled.
Display Post Date
This option allows you to display the date the post was published. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type.
Date Format
This field allows you to set the format for displaying the post date. The default format is “Y/m/d”. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type and the post date display is enabled.
Date Icon
This option allows you to select an icon to display alongside the post date. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type and the post date display is enabled.
Display Post Comment
This option allows you to display the number of comments on the post. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type.
Comment Icon
This option allows you to select an icon to display alongside the comment count. It is available only when “Post Meta” is selected as the content type and the post comment display is enabled.
Display On Sale
This option allows you to display a badge indicating that a product is on sale. It is available only when “Product Badge” is selected as the content type.
On Sale Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “On Sale” badge. The default value is “Sale”. It is available only when “Product Badge” is selected as the content type and the “Display On Sale” option is enabled.
Display New Arrival
This option allows you to display a badge indicating that a product is a new arrival. It is available only when “Product Badge” is selected as the content type.
New Arrival Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “New Arrival” badge. The default value is “New Arrival”. It is available only when “Product Badge” is selected as the content type and the “Display New Arrival” option is enabled.
Display Best Seller
This option allows you to display a badge indicating that a product is a best seller. It is available only when “Product Badge” is selected as the content type.
Best Seller Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Best Seller” badge. The default value is “Best Seller”. It is available only when “Product Badge” is selected as the content type and the “Display Best Seller” option is enabled.
Content Length
This setting allows you to define the length of the content or excerpt displayed in the posts. The default value is 12, and you can set it from 0 to 1000 characters. It is available only when “Content” or “Excerpt” is selected as the content type.
Title Length
This setting allows you to define the length of the title displayed in the posts. The default value is 6, and you can set it from 0 to 1000 characters.
Select Taxonomies
This option allows you to choose the taxonomies to display for the posts. You can select multiple taxonomies. It is available only when “Taxonomy” is selected as the content type.
Max. Terms to Show
This setting allows you to define the maximum number of terms to display for each taxonomy. The default value is 5. It is available only when “Taxonomy” is selected as the content type.
Field Key
This field allows you to enter the key for custom fields. It is available only when “Custom Field” or “User Meta” is selected as the content type.
HTML
This field allows you to enter custom HTML content to display in the posts. It is available only when “HTML” is selected as the content type.
Read More Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Read More” link. The default value is “Read More »”. It is available only when “Read More” is selected as the content type.
Visit Profile Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Visit Profile” link. The default value is “Visit Profile »”. It is available only when “Visit Profile” is selected as the content type.
Buy Now Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Buy Now” button. The default value is “Buy Now”. It is available only when “Buy Now” is selected as the content type.
Hide for Logged-Out Users
This option allows you to hide the “Pin Post” feature for users who are not logged in. It is available only when “Pin Post” is selected as the content type.
Pin Icon
This option allows you to select an icon to display for the “Pin Post” feature. It is available only when “Pin Post” is selected as the content type.
Bookmarked Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Pin” button. The default value is “Pin”. It is available only when “Pin Post” is selected as the content type.
Unbookmarked Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Unpin” button. The default value is “Unpin”. It is available only when “Pin Post” is selected as the content type.
Display Republish
This option allows you to enable or disable the republish option for the post. It is available only when “Edit Options” is selected as the content type.
Republish Icon
This option allows you to select an icon to display for the republish option. It is available only when “Edit Options” is selected as the content type and the “Display Republish” option is enabled.
Republish Text
This field allows you to set the text for the republish option. The default value is “Republish”. It is available only when “Edit Options” is selected as the content type and the “Display Republish” option is enabled.
Display Unpublish
This option allows you to enable or disable the unpublish option for the post. It is available only when “Edit Options” is selected as the content type.
Unpublish Icon
This option allows you to select an icon to display for the unpublish option. It is available only when “Edit Options” is selected as the content type and the “Display Unpublish” option is enabled.

Pagination Settings
Pagination
This setting allows you to enable or disable pagination for the posts. Pagination indicators will be shown at the bottom of the posts.
Pagination Type
This option allows you to choose the type of pagination. The available options include:
- Numeric
- Next/Previous
- Load More Button
- Infinite Scroll
Pagination Position
This setting allows you to choose the position of the pagination controls. The available options include:
- Top
- Bottom
- Both
Items Per Page
This option allows you to set the number of items displayed per page. The default value is 10.
Load More Text
This field allows you to set the text for the “Load More” button. The default value is “Load More”. It is available only when “Load More Button” is selected as the pagination type.
Infinite Scroll Trigger
This option allows you to choose how infinite scroll is triggered. The available options include:
- Scroll
- Button Click
It is available only when “Infinite Scroll” is selected as the pagination type.
