Search Settings

Customize the search bar’s target widget, post types, button text, placeholder, and redirect behavior.

Options:

Setting	Purpose	Details
Post Widget Target	Specify the CSS selector for the post widget targeted by the search bar.	Use an ID or class selector to bind a post widget. When bound, the search is handled via AJAX and the search bar does not redirect to the search results page.
Post Type to Search	Select the type of post to search.	If both search and filter widgets are on the same page, filter widget controls take precedence.
Button Text	Set the text displayed on the search button.	Defines the text that appears on the search button.
Placeholder	Set the placeholder text for the search input field.	Guides users on what to search for in the input field.
Redirect After Submission	Control whether to redirect users after search form submission.	When enabled, redirects users after submitting the search form.
Redirect URL	Specify the URL for redirection after form submission.	Defines the URL users are redirected to. Available when “Redirect After Submission” is enabled.
